Why Participate?
This year’s event comes at a crucial time, with the Procurement Act and Health Service Procurement (Wales) Act and Regulations now in effect, and Wales-specific measures soon to follow under the Social Partnership and Public Procurement (Wales) Act. Procurex Wales offers a vital opportunity for procurement teams and suppliers to stay informed and prepare for upcoming changes.
The agenda will feature the Procurement Wales Conference, developed in partnership with the Welsh Government, covering themes such as sustainability, digital transformation, supplier resilience, and SME inclusion.
Attendees will also benefit from four Skills Development Zones:
- Innovation and Technology.
- Sustainable and Social Procurement.
- Collaboration and Partnership.
- Contract and Risk Management, offering CPD-certified training and expert insights.
Over 80 suppliers will showcase solutions at the Product Showcase Exhibition, creating space for meaningful engagement between buyers and suppliers.
At the heart of the event, the Welsh Government Procurement Pavilion will give delegates the opportunity to speak directly with policy leads and framework providers.
