Race Equality Week is an annual UK-wide movement, organised by Race Equality Matters (REM), uniting thousands of organisations and individuals to address the barriers to race equality in the workplace. This year the week takes place from 3 to 9 February 2025.
The theme for this year is #EveryActionCounts
Race Equality Week enables your organisation to:
- Every: Every single person has the ability to take action. No matter your position in your organisation, no matter how much power or influence you have, when we all take action, change can happen
- Action: There is often too much talk, action is the driving force to change for good. Collaborate with colleagues or your internal race networks to understand what actions can be put in place to create or enhance an inclusive working environment. Could your organisation try one of REM’s free solutions.
- Counts: We all have the ability to take action. No action is too small to spark change. When you take action, you inspire your colleagues to do the same which helps others to learn and play a part in making a difference.
