Safer food means better business

The Food Standard Agency’s (FSA) ‘Safer food means better business’ campaign, aims to support food businesses with easy-to-access and free-to-use resources to help them stay on top of good food hygiene and safety practices, making life a little bit easier for businesses.

There are four key actions the FSA are asking businesses to do to stay on top of food safety:

  1. Check out the free online training, which includes food allergy training.
  2. Download the Safer Food Better Business pack to understand your responsibilities around food safety management procedures.
  3. Be better prepared for food safety incidents by signing up for food news, alerts and recalls so your business is ready to protect customers.
  4. Stay up to date with the latest allergen guidance, such as new guidance on how to provide written allergen information for consumers and make the most of their free tools.

Whether you’re looking to refresh your food safety knowledge, train your team, or stay up to date with the latest guidance, check out the ‘Safer food means better business’ campaign: Guidance for food businesses | Food Standards Agency
