Have you checked if you’re eligible to claim the Employment Allowance?

The Allowance is designed to support smaller employers with employment costs and, if eligible, can help you reduce your National Insurance contributions by up to £5,000 in the current 2024/25 tax year, increasing to £10,500 for 2025/26.

It's not automatic, so you'll need to tell HMRC if you qualify. You can claim at any point during the tax year and backdate claims for the previous four tax years.

Visit the Federation of Small Business’ explainer to find out if you’re eligible and start saving today.
