Small Charity Week 2024

Volunteers and charity workers

Small Charity Week, from 24 June to 28 June 2024, celebrates and raises awareness of the essential work of the UK’s small charity sector who make an invaluable contribution to the lives of millions of individuals, communities and causes across the UK and the rest of the world.

This year the theme for the week will be ‘Resilient Charities for Stronger Communities’ and its objectives are:

  • celebrate the contribution that small charities make to communities throughout the UK and across the world
  • improve the knowledge, representation and sustainability of small charities
  • highlight the work of the small charity sector to the broadest possible audience
  • encourage public giving
  • work with the small charity sector to develop political engagement at a national and local level
