Survey of Welsh Translators

simultaneous translation equipment

Does your company offer translation / interpretation to / from Welsh?

Do you know someone who works as a Welsh to / from English Translator / Interpreter?

In order to understand the shape and size of the translation/interpreting profession currently in Wales, Cymdeithas Cyfieithwyr Cymru (the association of Welsh translators and interpreters) – with financial support from the Welsh Government – has commissioned the company Arad to conduct research in the field.

The results of the research will be used by the Association to formulate a strategy for 2026 onwards. It will be shared with educators in order to train the next generation of translators.

There are two surveys, please complete the one that applies to you by 30 June 2025:

If you have any questions, please contact swyddfa@cyfieithwyr.cymru
