The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has opened application windows for two ‘sandbox’ services to support innovative firms tackling challenges caused by the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
The following areas have been identified as particular areas of importance for the FCA:
- preventing fraud and scams
- supporting the financial resilience of vulnerable consumers
- improving access to finance for small and medium sized enterprises
Application windows are now open for:
- Cohort 7 of the Regulatory Sandbox, closing date is 31 December 2020
- Digital Sandbox initiative, closing date is 30 October 2020
