Emma Staple spent a long time researching the school uniform market and spotted a gap. A gap she was convinced could be turned into a successful business. But it took more than a sharp insight to make Uniform2Go happen. It took enthusiasm, self-belief and hard work.
The Welsh Government helped bring Emma's vision of supplying premium quality school garments to life: "There's an awful lot of support available from the Welsh Government. It's definitely worth checking out." Emma also acknowledges the help she's had from friends, local schools and others. Orders flowed in and Uniform2Go won an Enterprise Award for Wales from the Prince's Trust. Internet sales have been a real platform for growth. Today Uniform2Go supplies over 250 schools and the customer base is growing.
