WRAP’s research shows that 1.1 million tonnes of food is wasted from the Hospitality and Food Service (HaFS) sector every year; and on average, 18% of the food purchased is being thrown away, costing the sector £3.2billion.
With HaFS business reporting as much as 80% of food waste arising from customers’ plates, there is a significant opportunity to make waste and cost savings for HaFS businesses and protect profits and our planet.
WRAP is bringing together leaders from across the HaFS sector to:
