The World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO) is the global community and verifier of enterprises that fully practise Fair Trade.
Every second Saturday of May, WFTO celebrates World Fair Trade Day to shine a spotlight on the transformative power of the Fair Trade business model and its positive impact on people’s lives and communities. Every year, the theme of the campaign changes to focus on a specific topic that is dear to the community. For 2024, the theme of the campaign is #BusinessRevolution and takes place on 11 May.
This annual celebration serves as a global platform to raise awareness about Fair Trade principles and practices, promoting social and economic justice.
