This National Space Technology Programme (NSTP) Call aims to develop the capability of the UK space sector by providing seed funding for early stage innovative ideas.
UK Government grants worth up to £75,000 are available to the UK space sector to develop new commercial technologies and bring them closer to market.
The funding from the UK Space Agency is available for businesses, non-profits and academics.
Project proposals are sought for space technology research and development projects in areas including:
- early technology readiness level innovation
- new technology concepts
- knowledge transfer
- skills development
- refining an idea
- undertaking a market survey
- proof of concept
Industrial co-funding may be required for the selected projects in accordance with the EU State Aid Regulations.
This call will close at midday on 10 August 2020.
