With a 20+ year background in care practice, Anna Davies wanted to turn her dream of running a care providing business into a reality. With the support from her business advisor, she is now the director of You Are My Sunshine Services Ltd, a mental health and learning disabilities care providing service, established to respond to the needs of service users on a 24-hour basis.

Anna then received further one-to-one guidance from her advisor, which gave her the confidence and the extra tools she needed to start her own business in a compliant way.
Furthermore, Anna has signed up to our Green Growth Pledge, where her business will focus on using efficient transport, and has pledged to look after the well-being of staff and the local community.
Anna also received support from a specialist tendering advisor, enabling her business to become part of the Carmarthenshire’s County Council's framework.
