Chris Galtry, from Equi-Jewel, contacted Business Wales to speak with a Disabled Peoples’ Employment Adviser as he was interested in introducing various inclusive recruitment strategies, including apprenticeships.
After support from his Disabled Peoples’ Employment Adviser, Chris signed up to the Disability Confident Scheme and is now adapting his job adverts and business to ensure that it is inclusive for everyone.
Additionally, Chris has signed up to the Equality Pledge and the Green Growth Pledge to develop his business strategy further to be a sustainable, inclusive business going forward.
