This website is run by the Welsh Government’s Farming Connect programme. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:
- zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
- navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
- navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
- listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)
We also aim to use plain English wherever possible.
AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.
How accessible this website is
Some parts of this website are not fully accessible. The known issues include:
- empty headings that are voiced incorrectly by screen readers (e.g. empty <h3> and <h2> tags)
- images missing accessible names or using placeholder alt text such as “Alternative text”
- non-descriptive or empty link text (e.g. “click here” or links with no accessible name)
- important information placed inside tables incorrectly marked as role="presentation"
- meta viewport settings that prevent users from zooming and restrict scaling on mobile devices
- use of absolute font units (e.g. px) that reduce the ability to change text size when zoom is restricted
