Selecting an Adviser

The Advisory Service is delivered by 9 companies, selected and approved by Farming Connect.  Each individual adviser providing advice will have met the following set of criteria as a minimum:

• Have a Higher National Diploma in a related subject – Degree is preferred
• Membership of a relevant professional body
• Minimum of 3 years' experience of consulting with the Welsh farming industry
• Illustrate an in-depth knowledge of the chosen subject
• Specialist advisers will hold additional qualifications e.g. FACTS
• Evidence of 20 hrs continued professional development per annum
