Adult Learners' Week Innovation Fund 2024

Adult Learners Week

Adult Learners’ Week, coordinated by the Learning and Work Institute in partnership with the Welsh Government, is set to take place during 9 to 15 September 2024.

The annual campaign presents a special opportunity for people to embrace a second chance at education and work, whilst showcasing the powerful impact of lifelong learning in Wales.

Each year the campaign inspires thousands of people to attend special events, sign up to courses and seek advice and guidance on the opportunities available for them to upskill, improve confidence and wellbeing, discover new hobbies, and make new connections.

Become a campaign partner: make lifelong learning more accessible and visible to adults across Wales.

The Learning and Work Institute are inviting organisations across Wales to join their network of partners to plan and register their activities, which will be promoted as part of the multi-media Wales wide campaign. Organisations who are new to the campaign can register their interest here.

Learning and Work Institute’s Adult Learners’ Week Innovation Fund is also available for organisations in Wales who wish to deliver online and in-person learning activity for Adult Learners’ Week and throughout the month of September 2024.

The grant fund is intended to promote and support the creation of online and / or in-person free bitesize tasters, events, courses, open days, masterclasses, learner voice or family learning activities – activities should be focused on learning for adults.

The deadline for applications is 16 August 2024.

Visit the Learning and Work Institute's website for further information and links to the application form.
