Apprenticeship Week 2025

Apprentice hairdresser

National Apprenticeship Week takes place from 10 to 16 February 2025.

The aim of this week is to celebrate and promote apprenticeships as a valuable pathway into work or a new career. and the benefits they bring to both individuals and employers.

If you or anyone within your network have any apprenticeship opportunities in the pipeline then we’d encourage you to add them to the Apprenticeship Vacancy Service over the next few weeks.

The easiest way to add a vacancy is to go to Search for an apprenticeship vacancy | Apprenticeships (gov.wales) and scroll down, where there is a ‘Manage Apprenticeships’ button. Here, you can sign-up as an apprentice employer and add any vacancies to the Apprenticeship Vacancy Service.

The minister responsible for apprenticeship policy in Wales, Jack Sargeant, returned this week to the college where he himself studied as an apprentice to celebrate Apprenticeship Week and extol the benefits of this route into employment: Full circle for former apprentice turned government Minister | GOV.WALES
