Apprentices work alongside experienced employees to gain on the job skills while receiving outside training from an approved college, training provider or university.
Funding is available in Wales to support all businesses, regardless of size. Employers will pay the apprentices wages, as with any employee, and Welsh Government will offer support with some of the training costs.
