To mark Earth Day (which took place on 22 April 2025) Business in the Community (BITC) is hosting an event to explore how businesses can create a just transition in Wales.
A just transition is a fair and inclusive journey to a net zero, resilient future where people and nature thrive, that is led by business and:
- designed and delivered with diverse stakeholders
- creates economic opportunities and equips people to access them
- actively regenerates communities and nature
BITC is supporting businesses to go beyond net zero and this summer will be launching a Just Transition Self-Assessment tool to support businesses in identifying and taking their next practical actions.
Join this free Cardiff event on 12 June 2025 event to:
- hear from a range of speakers from BITC, their member businesses, and government
- get insight into how businesses are acting on this agenda, and what is possible
- consider how BITC's tools can align with, and support the implementation of, the Welsh Government's Just Transition Framework
