Join Business in the Community (BITC) at Toyota's Deeside Engine Plant to discuss what businesses can do to reduce impact on the environment.
This event, on 31 January 2025, will support businesses across Wales to decarbonise and achieve the Welsh Government’s net zero commitments by 2050 so that we can create a greener Wales.
Consumers are progressively interested in an organisation's sustainability credentials. Similarly, more businesses seek to partner with and invest in sustainable businesses to reduce their Scope 3 emissions. Due to this increasing pressure, now is the time to ensure that your business is prepared to make the decarbonisation transition.
This event is your opportunity to connect with businesses of all sizes across Wales and share best practice. Participants will exchange what they have done to transform their businesses and what enables them to speed up the transition to meet Wales’s net zero commitments.
You will have the unique opportunity to not only hear how Toyota Manufacturing UK are making the journey to Carbon Neutral but also tour their Engine Plant to see some of the changes they have put into action. The Deeside facility, known for producing high-quality engines for Toyota vehicles, is set to lead the way in environmental innovation and serves as a model for sustainable manufacturing practices within Toyota.
You will also hear from Business in the Community’s Director of Climate, Gudrun Cartwright, on how we at BITC can help your business on your own journey to Carbon Neutral.
