The Department for Transport (DfT), in partnership with Innovate UK have launched the First of a Kind (FOAK) competition.
The FOAK competition boosts innovation on the railways, improving passenger experience through cutting-edge technology.
Organisations can apply for a share of up to £4.7 million inclusive of VAT, across four themes to develop a prototype, conduct field testing and demonstrate their solution
The competition addresses 4 themes.
The closing date for applications is 28 May 2025.
