IETF launches new £70 million Phase 2 competition window

The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has launched the Phase 2: Autumn 2022 competition window of the Industrial Energy Transformation Fund (IETF). 

Businesses in Wales can now bid for a share of approximately £70 million in grant funding through the Phase 2: Autumn 2022 competition window. This is the last currently planned application window and applicants are encouraged to apply if they have a suitable project. 

To view the applicant guidance and make an application for funding, please visit the competition page. Please note, in this application window, the IETF will also support projects that improve the energy efficiency and/or reduce emissions of non-road mobile machinery (NRMM). The machinery must be necessary to, and a part of, the industrial process located within the boundary of the eligible site. 

The competition will open for applications on Monday 10 October 2022 and will run until 13 January 2023.
