21 March is the UN International Day of Elimination of Racial Discrimination. The day is observed annually following a declaration by the United Nations in 1966.
Proclaiming the day, the UN General Assembly called on the international community to redouble its efforts to eliminate all forms of racial discrimination.
The date provides a timely reminder that the Welsh Government is wholly committed to being an anti-racist organisation.
