21 March is the UN International Day of Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
The day is observed annually following a declaration by the United Nations in 1966: International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination | United Nations
Proclaiming the day, the UN General Assembly called on the international community to redouble its efforts to eliminate all forms of racial discrimination.
The date provides a timely reminder that the Welsh Government is wholly committed to being an anti-racist organisation.
