Lab by Transport For Wales Accelerator is a10-week programme designed to take your start-up from ideation to product launch and deploy your solution across Transport for Wales.
The programme is for any organisation, entrepreneur, start-up or a scale-up business that has a product or idea that can provide a solution to any of the following challenge areas:
- Media Specific Challenges as outlined by Media Cymru (Applicants for these challenges must be based in Wales).
- Transport Specific Challenges as outlined by Transport for Wales (Can be based outside Wales).
Participants will benefit from:
- Access to funding of up to £30,000 (TfW) and £50,000 (Media Cymru).
- Specialist R&D training to refine and develop their ideas.
- Expert mentorship and industry support.
- The opportunity to deploy their innovation with Transport for Wales.
At the end of the 10 weeks, all businesses taking part in the programme will present your MVP (Minimum Viable Product) on demo day, with the goal of securing funding with Transport for Wales or Media Cymru. Successful candidates will then have the financial security and access to the resources needed to continue development of your product or service to integrate across Transport for Wales.
