Project to help autistic people prepare for work

Swansea University and Imersifi (software studio) have come together to research and explore how virtual reality technology can help the autism community, they want to co-produce this training with the autistic community and employers.

Virtual reality can be experienced by wearing a headset, the headset displays a virtual world where you can experience new situations and interact with objects.

The project will be focussing on employment and how the technology can be used to expose someone to a range of workplace challenges that may be encountered, prior to experiencing them for real, in the hope that this will reduce anxiety.

This short survey will steer the decision of content developed for the virtual world.
