The Urdd National Eisteddfod is one of Europe’s largest annual youth touring festivals.
This year Ynys Môn hosts the National Eisteddfod yr Urdd at Anglesey Agricultural Showground, Gwalchmai, from Saturday, 23 May to Friday, 29 May 2026.
The festival is a celebration of the Welsh language and culture with over 15,000 children and young people under the age of 25 competing during the Eisteddfod week in various competitions such as singing, dancing and performing.
It’s expected that the festival will attract close to 100,000 visitors.
