Ready to reduce your waste?

#ZeroWasteWeek, 2 to 6 September 2024, is an award-winning, grassroots annual awareness campaign that takes place online and on-the-ground.

It helps householders, businesses, organisations, schools, universities and community groups reduce landfill waste so you can save money, preserve resources and protect the environment.

"Don’t Buy It — Benthyg It!"

This Zero Waste Week,  Benthyg Cymru is championing the ‘borrow, don’t buy’ movement. Benthyg (ben-thig), meaning "to borrow or lend" in Welsh, perfectly captures the spirit of what we’re encouraging this September. The Welsh Government and Benthyg Cymru are encouraging people across Wales to find their nearest Library of Things – a community hub where people can borrow items they need, sharing resources that are already in their local area: "Don’t Buy It — Benthyg It!" | GOV.WALES
