I am also an actor, writer and presenter and therefore I have excellent communication skills, both in English and in Welsh. Cymraeg is my first language and mother tongue. (My university degree was in Welsh and I am a professional translator – from Welsh to English and from English to Welsh.)
For the successful growth of my company Scoot in the Boot I had to devise and develop my own marketing strategy. Focusing on potential customers, it involved website design, leaflets, cards, adverts on radio and TV. I also had to do a lot of networking and pitching to individuals, hotels and restaurants, et cetera.
I have, over the years, also developed very good organisational skills. As a director of my own company I had to run my own office, keep books, file records on clients and annually submit financial accounts.
As previously mentioned, I am a freelance actor, writer and presenter. I have appeared in countless programs including Casualty, Doctor Who, Eastenders The Dot Story, Da Vinci’s Demons, Pobl Y Cwm, Lleifior, Rownd a Rownd, Y Sŵn etc. I have written five BBC radio dramas and countless pantomimes and Christmas shows for theatre.
