Welcome to Big Ideas Wales!

If you’re thinking of starting your own business and you’re aged 25 or under, then get the help you need through Big Ideas Wales.

As part of the Young Person’s Guarantee, we want to ensure young people have the opportunity to explore entrepreneurship, and to develop the skills and knowledge to be more enterprising and fulfil their ambitions to start and run their own successful business.

By learning from positive entrepreneurial Role Models, we deliver a range of experiences and workshops that look to challenge perceptions of entrepreneurship, developing ambition and passion for entrepreneurship and explore the skills and mind-set needed to start a business.  We team up with colleges, universities, and youth groups to spark ambition and build the skills you need to start a business.

A team of Business Advisors are dedicated to working with aspiring young entrepreneurs to prepare and take their first steps into self-employment or business start-up, providing support for the first 12 months of their start-up journey.

Careers Wales deliver Big Ideas Wales activities within schools by utilising our network of Role Models to help bring areas of the curriculum to life, raise awareness of entrepreneurship, understand the skills and attitudes needed to succeed and enable pupils to get an insight into what it would be like to start a business.
