As a professional makeup artist specialising in occasion and bridal makeup, her business is built on more than brushes and palettes - it’s built on confidence. Confidence she now helps other women to feel, because it’s the very thing her business gave to her.

The journey started small. With a basic makeup kit and a big dream, she worked with multiple clients using what she had, reinvesting every step of the way until she could upgrade to a professional, high-end kit. Facebook became her shop window, and through consistency, word of mouth, and determination, her client base began to grow.

Makeup had always been a passion. Hours were spent watching YouTube tutorials, experimenting, and imagining a future in the beauty industry - but for years, self-doubt stood in the way. While working in an ice cream shop, it took a simple but powerful question from her boyfriend, Liam - “What do you really want to do?” - to spark change. His belief became the encouragement she needed to take her first brave step into business. She credits that support as a key reason for where she is today.

Like many entrepreneurs, the path hasn’t been without challenges. Overcoming anxiety and learning to believe in herself has been the hardest hurdle. Managing difficult clients and last-minute cancellations has tested her resilience - but each obstacle has strengthened her confidence and professionalism.

Today, being her own boss means freedom, ownership, and growth. While running every aspect of the business can be daunting, the reward of creating something meaningful far outweighs the challenges.
