From taking a leap of faith into consultancy to empowering others with the skills to succeed, his journey shows how courage, curiosity and self-belief can shape a rewarding career.
He now runs a consultancy focused on leadership, business, management and finance - helping individuals and organisations build the confidence, knowledge and strategies they need to grow and succeed.
But his path into entrepreneurship wasn’t mapped out from the start. For him, it began with recognising that opportunities don’t wait. When the chance came to step into the world of consultancy, he chose to take a risk. The idea of working for himself was both exciting and practical - and he embraced it, setting out to build something on his own terms.
His inspiration came from unexpected places. Watching consultants at work in TV programmes, he saw a career that sparked his interest and imagination. He recalls one particular show where a consultant played a central role, and thinking: “That’s something I’d love to do.” At the same time, attending training courses made him curious - he wanted to understand how those facilitators got there, and whether he could do the same. That curiosity became a catalyst.
Like many entrepreneurs, his journey hasn’t been without challenges. Early on, he had to overcome fear and imposter syndrome - questioning whether he was good enough or ready to step into the role he had imagined. There were also practical pressures, including periods of limited cashflow. But by pushing through these barriers, he developed resilience and confidence, learning that growth often comes from stepping outside your comfort zone.
Today, one of the things he values most about being his own boss is the freedom it gives him - the ability to shape his work, choose his direction, and manage his time in a way that reflects his priorities.
With expertise spanning finance, budgeting, business, management and leadership, he is passionate about sharing his knowledge and helping others unlock their potential. His story is a reminder that sometimes all it takes is a moment of belief - and the willingness to take a chance—to start building a future on your own terms.
