UNITE Open Call 2
The UNITE Open Call 2 is now open.
UNITE is a Horizon Europe co-funded programme that brings together regions across Europe to build a borderless digital health innovation ecosystem. Welsh organisations can collaborate with European partners to develop, test and scale innovative digital health solutions that address real-world healthcare challenges.
The call is open from 10 September 2026 to 10 December 2026, with successful projects running from 1 April 2027 to 30 September 2028. A total call budget of €6 million is available, with funding of up to €1 million per project.
Successful projects will need to develop solutions that support:
- Deep-tech innovations to secure equal health for the entire population
- Digital innovations to tackle the health workforce crisis

VInnovate 2026 Funding Call
The VInnovate 2026 Call is now closed to new applications. The deadline for full proposal submission is October 10, 2026, 23:59 CET.
VInnovate 2026 is a funding model supported by the Vanguard Initiative, whih is a collaborative programme supporting industrial modernisation and innovation through industry-led and cross-regional coopreation.

- a smarter industry - integrating digital technologies into industries in order to create new opportunities and improve existing ones
- a more sustainable industry - the move towards a climate-neutral industry
