VInnovate 2026 is a funding model supported by the Vanguard Initiative, whih is a collaborative programme supporting industrial modernisation and innovation through industry-led and cross-regional coopreation.

Successful projects will need to develop solutions that will support:
- a smarter industry - integrating digital technologies into industries in order to create new opportunities and improve existing ones
- a more sustainable industry - the move towards a climate-neutral industry
