Learning activities
Recap the idea(s) for an enterprise project generated in Activity 2.
Pose the question “Who could we ask to find out more about our idea(s)?”
Explore the possibilities of inviting a representative from a local business to visit the school, organising a virtual visit, or arranging a visit to a local business.
Pupils prepare questions they will ask the visitor e.g.
- “What do you do?”
- “What do you make?”
- “How do you do it?”
- “How do you sell it?”
- “What do you think of our ideas?”
- “What advice can you give us?”
Pupils plan who will ask the questions, who will be responsible for meeting the visitor and who will thank the visitor at the end.
Learning outcome
Pupils develop simple planning skills and begin to express an idea to someone else.
