Alice Marie

For Alice Marie, creativity has always been more than art. It has been a way to understand emotions, overcome challenges, and help others do the same.

Based in Newport, Alice is the founder of Alice Marie Artist, a creative wellbeing business dedicated to helping people build emotional resilience and find balance before they reach crisis point. Her journey into entrepreneurship was shaped by both her professional experience working within the mental health sector and her own personal experiences as an AuDHD (Autistic and ADHD) entrepreneur.

Rather than viewing her differences as barriers, Alice learned to embrace the unique perspective they give her. What started as a passion for supporting others has grown into a thriving business that delivers one-to-one coaching, group programmes, training, and inclusive wellbeing workshops for adults and children.

Today, Alice works with a range of organisations, including the NHS Recovery College, the Police and Crime Commissioner, charities, and community arts hubs. Through creativity, conversation, and connection, she helps people develop a greater understanding of themselves and their wellbeing.

One of Alice's biggest motivations is showing young people that there is no single path to success. She believes that the qualities that make us different can often become our greatest strengths, and that entrepreneurship offers an opportunity to build a future that works for you.

For any young person who is unsure about their next step, Alice wants them to know that every experience has value.

“No part of our lives has to be discarded immediately. I believe both the best parts and the worst parts of our lives can be used to shape us into the best version of ourselves, if we allow it to.”

Through her business and her story, Alice continues to inspire others to embrace who they are, turn challenges into opportunities, and create positive change for themselves and their communities.
