My business is called ‘Strength in You Ltd”, The reason I call it that was that I genuinely believe that everybody has the strength in them to achieve great things. People must find their ‘why’ or ‘purpose’ and believe in themselves. The business covers both physical and mental health because these go hand in hand.

I started the business after personally suffering adversity and battling with my own mental health for over 20 years. I have overcome so many challenges by working hard, studying and believing in myself. I extremely passionate about motivating and inspiring people by showing them that you can still achieve great things in life even after facing adversity. 

The main thing was meeting the Doctor who saved my life in 2022. He told me I was a miracle patient and that I should have died on several occasions. He said I should talk to people and inspire them with my story. He made me appreciate life more and now I want to give back to others after being given a second chance at life.

I have overcome lots of challenges in my life, especially after my accident where I was told I would never walk again. I proved Doctors wrong and learnt to walk again in 2 weeks, I also struggled with my mental health for over 20 years. I have had lots of set backs and people tell me I cannot do things but I have proven them all wrong. I personally think I would be an excellent role model for young entrepreneurs as I will be able to inspire, motivate them and make them believe anything is possible. In my key note talks I talk about being true to yourself and chasing your dreams, not other peoples just to be accepted into society.  Also that failure is not a bad thing, these 2 areas are crucial to people setting up a new business.

I can do the things that fill my heart and soul, giving back and motivating others. I structure my week to include the things that are important to me, so I have a good work life balance. I am also the master of my own destiny, the harder I work the success I achieve.
