I attended Bryncelynog School and started hairdressing at the age of 10, left school at 15 and then began working in the family business. I’ve now been working there 30 years! Our customers are mainly business orientated, teachers, doctors, dentists and accountants.

My family motivated me, gave me training and there’s a lot of creative work involved and I enjoy being part of this.
The business has expanded and we now have 12 salons across Wales and even one in London with 4/5 people working there. We’ve learnt as we go along and setbacks have included financial problems due to the economy and our city centre location which has been stressful but we’ve learnt to cope and it’s been great for learning and knowledge.
