This was a family project that started with initially solving a problem for ourselves. A lot of my family are into gadgets, new technology and enjoy capturing memories.
We wanted to produce something that was fun, but didn’t have the queue times as a traditional photobooth which we had experienced at a friend’s party. After a bit of market research and planning, we built Snapita.
The next generation and the evolution of businesses and their marketing platforms. The world has gone crazy with social media and one of the objectives of Snapita was to provide a fun and easy way to push social media marketing within local businesses.
Newer/different types of “traditional photobooths” coming on to the market for weddings and smaller parties. Although they are not direct competition, they are well known and a lot of people always have this pre-conception of what a photobooth should do.
People often come to me thinking we are like those other photobooths and don’t understand the concept until they actually play with the equipment.
Managing my own diary and creating my own income. I decide on how much I want to work and how much work I need to create the lifestyle I need for my family.
I also love being the creative boss. I love being able to make the decisions to expand my business, to incorporate new ideas and strategies to adapt my services for each and every client, making it completely bespoke.
