Gareth founded one of the UK’s largest community of entrepreneurs in Caerphilly in 2012. That led to him investing time and energy into all parts of the Welsh start-up scene.
In 2017 he left that company to launch Town Square Spaces, with the aim of helping thousands more people across the UK.
In that time, Town Square have launched a space in Wrexham – the town Gareth was born in – and have two spaces opening across the UK, in Oxfordshire and West Sussex.
“I never knew what I wanted to do growing up, running a business has allowed me to learn as I go along and create a job that I am passionate about.”
As well as this, Gareth is an advisor to the Prime Minister as part of the Business Council for Small Businesses, and Clwstwr Creadigol which was set up to invest in and support companies in the creative industries. He is also a member on the board of Cardiff Start – with over 3000 members all working on creative and digital businesses.
When he’s not being a businessman, Gareth enjoys scraping his knees playing 5-a-side, supporting Arsenal, and learning through travel and reading books.
