Julie Williams

Julie Williams is an entrepreneur and counsellor who has spent her career creating opportunities for people who feel shut out or held back. She started her first business in childcare as a one-person service in Colwyn Bay and grew it into a national company, delivering mobile creches at events across the UK and even in Lagos, Nigeria. Her work helped parents take part in education, work and training when they would normally have had to miss out -  and she became known for breaking barriers rather than accepting them.

After major changes in the events industry and a total reset during the pandemic, Julie hit her own turning point. She retrained as a counsellor to understand how the brain works, why people doubt themselves and how to overcome the emotional blocks that stop us trying. Today she runs The Coaching Den and Your Turning Point, helping people rebuild confidence, develop resilience and recognise their potential - especially when life hasn’t been straightforward.

Julie’s message to young people is simple:

You don’t have to have the perfect start.

You don’t have to have it all figured out.

You just need the courage to try, learn from the knocks and keep going.
