Typically a 2 day training course with an assessment on a different day. A certificate will be issued upon successful completion.
PA1 = This qualification meets the legal requirements of the Control of Pesticides Regulations and lets you work unsupervised in the industry. To achieve this qualification, you'll show your knowledge of the Approved Code of Practice for Plant Protection Products. You are required to complete this course before completing practical courses in particular pesticide application.
PA4 = This qualification is designed specifically if you wish to use either a pelleted or granular applicator (slugs) which can be mounted or trailed as part of their daily role. The course looks at how to prepare your equipment, the maintenance of it and its safe operation and calibration. The training is ideal for farmers and sprayer operatives.
