  • Whether you're looking to develop a new business idea, strengthen your professional network or learn from others facing similar challenges, Elen believes Agrisgôp provides the ideal environment to exchange ideas, build confidence and turn opportunities into action. Having participated as an Agrisgôp member herself, Elen, who breeds and shows North Country Cheviot sheep, has experienced first-hand the value of peer-to-peer learning.

"Everyone has different experiences and ideas to share, and when people feel comfortable discussing them openly, that's often when the best ideas emerge and conversations turn into actions."

  • Raised on a family farm and having previously worked on farms in both Wales and New Zealand, Elen combines practical agricultural experience with professional roles supporting the Welsh farming industry. She remains actively involved with her family's sheep enterprise in North Wales and has first-hand experience of the opportunities and challenges facing farming businesses today.
  • As administrative and marketing officer with the Anglesey Agricultural Society, Elen plays a key role in coordinating one of Wales' largest agricultural shows. Working closely with farmers, volunteers, sponsors, committee members and contractors has strengthened her project management, communication and organisational skills, while giving her a broad understanding of the agricultural industry across Wales.
  • Her previous role as marketing and engagement assistant with the DPJ Foundation, where she handled social media, gave her valuable insight into the pressures facing farming families, from regulatory demands and financial uncertainty to climate pressures and the isolation often experienced in rural communities.
  • A confident bilingual communicator, Elen has contributed to television, radio and podcasts on rural issues and has spoken at agricultural and community events across Wales. She enjoys bringing people together, encouraging open discussion and helping groups develop practical solutions to shared challenges. " Agrisgôp gives people the chance to step back from the day-to-day routine, meet others facing similar challenges and discover ideas they might never have considered on their own.
