Project duration

Successful projects must be implemented and completed within the timeframe noted on application form and awarding of a discussion group project fund. All projects must be completed within 18 months of the Award Date

Confidentiality

Throughout the application process Farming Connect will not disclose confidential details of projects with any other party. Information relating to the different projects will only be made public once the project has been approved for funding. Data ownership  

Data will remain the property of the farmers/growers participating in the project, however, as the project has been publicly funded, information relating to the project will need to be publicly available through Farming Connect. If a farmer/grower considers that they are bringing commercially sensitive information, then it is for them to consider whether a publicly funded mechanism such as Farming Connect is suitable for them.

Sharing the results  

The results will be shared with other farmers/growers in Wales (including those outside the discussion groups) through working with a dedicated member of the Farming Connect team on knowledge transfer activities such as events. Final report will need to be produced within the provided template on the discussion group project prior to payment of final project costs.
