Awel y Grug Project update - September 2023

During a challenging establishment year in 2023, where many grass reseeds have struggled, both plots sown for this project established well, although a prolonged period of rain between field preparation (17 July) and sowing (17 August) meant that some weeds, including creeping buttercup, chickweed and meadow grasses are present in both leys. The plots are detailed below:
