To prevent trace element deficiencies in growing lambs, most farmers now use many different methods of supplementing trace elements; from slow release boluses to oral drenches. A recent trial was conducted at a Farming Connect focus site (Pentre Farm in Llansoy, Usk) to compare three trace element supplementation methods, and their effect on the daily liveweight gain of purchased store lambs.
