First Aid at Work

A 3- day practical and theory combined training course with an integrated assessment. A certificate awarded following completion.

This training course is for those of you who are required to be the recognised “first aider” within your business; it is designed for managers and supervisors or those in a position of authority within a group. 
You will learn the basic skills and knowledge of first aid, so you can administer simple but sometimes life-saving techniques in the workplace.
Course sessions will include: Resuscitation, unconsciousness, airway and breathing problems, circulation problems, wounds and bleeding, burns and scalds, injuries to bones, muscles, and joints.

Worth noting: First aid at work certificates are valid for three years.

From 1st September 2023, all applicants must complete the following mandatory e-learning module before applying for funding – Mandatory Unit: Health and Safety – Risk Management in Forestry and Farming
