To investigate ways of improving on our rotational grazing system to maximise the value of grass reseeds and to reduce feed costs
To increase output per hectare to recoup investment in reseeding
To produce more kilogrammes of beef per hectare on a low-cost system by rearing Aberdeen Angus dairy beef cattle on grass

"I have attended many Farming Connect events and recently hosted an event at Cefnllan so I have seen the value that can be gained from the Farming Connect programme. From a personal perspective, we are aimingto improve the resilience of our business by experimenting with rearing Aberdeen Angus dairy beef cattle therefore we are looking forward to working with experts in our capacity as a Demonstration Farm to inform what is a totally new enterprise for us and to disseminate thoses findings to the wider industry."
