Ffion Davies is a dairy farmer and business partner based near Llandysul, where she and her partner have recently taken on their own dairy enterprise.
Raised on a mixed beef, sheep and dairy farm, Ffion developed practical farming experience from an early age, taking responsibility for lambing flocks and rearing calves. In April 2026, she transitioned into dairy, helping establish a 250-cow spring-calving, grass-based system while balancing family life with two young children.
Alongside her farming role, Ffion is a Digital Communications Officer with Hywel Dda University Health Board, bringing valuable skills in communication, marketing and digital content creation. This dual experience strengthens her approach to business development and engagement within the agricultural sector.
Her ambitions include expanding the dairy herd, improving land productivity through data-driven decision-making, and rebuilding her sheep enterprise alongside beef production from dairy-bred calves. She is particularly interested in benchmarking, soil health and continuous improvement.
