This is a 1 day training course with a certificate of training issued after course completion.

Injuries and illness ruin lives and businesses. Learn how to minimise the risks to yourself and those working on your farm. Working in conjunction with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), Lantra Awards developed this course to help farmers reduce the risk of accidents on the farm and make it less likely that formal enforcement action will be taken if an inspection takes place.

This course covers various aspects of Health and Safety on farms. Learn how to minimise the risk of formal enforcement action by the HSE following an inspection of your farm. The course will cover a number of important areas of farm safety, including falls from height and falling objects, livestock, vehicles and machinery, children on farms and HSE inspections and interventions.

Please note that the outline, duration and image for each course are a guide only. Please contact the training provider for more information.
