This is a two – day advanced level training course which will cover instruction and practical training in the following:

The Advanced Shearing course will help those that can already competently shear a sheep to improve their skills further by:

•    Learning from industry professionals the most efficient way of shearing a sheep
•    Perfecting Shearing Pattern.
•     Shearing technical skills, comb experting, and grinding.
•    Plant maintenance. 
•    Animal welfare. 
•    Health & safety. 
•    Fitness 
•    Hydration and Nutritional needs. 
•    Personal and animal injury management.

Upon successful completion and depending on the level achieved, the participant will be awarded a Nationally and Internationally recognised Elite Wool Industry Training  Red, Green or Gold Seal Certificate.
